Cats, lamps and us
Rondin is a brand created by designers Wioletta Taratuta and Iwo Rzepiela in 2019. During the renovation of our apartment in an old, historic tenement house, we were looking for lamps that would add color and fun to a classic interior. As avid lovers of antique fairs, we regularly went treasure hunting, and old glass stands out especially with its form and color. This is where the idea to give these beautiful objects a new life was born.

We create our lamps from exquisite, old glass, which sometimes shows traces of use. It may be slightly chipped or scratched, but we believe that these marks add character and history.
Working with each glass element and time spent composing a unique form makes us very emotionally attached to each of them.
Such forgotten or unfashionable glass, hidden in cabinets and display cases, finds its way into the central places of the interior, enjoying the light penetrating through it.
Looking for glass
We usually spend Sunday mornings rummaging through boxes looking for treasures at flea markets.
